MLB History: four teams achieving 10+ 100-win seasons, featuring the New York Yankees

No team this year in the Major League Baseball (MLB) will achieve 100 wins. At most, the Los Angeles Dodgers can go up to 99 games. 100 wins usually go to the best team in the season. It is a record that is very difficult to achieve but some teams have done the unthinkable.

Many good teams in the MLB have achieved the 100-win mark multiple times. Some franchises have 10 or more seasons of 100 or more wins.

A look at the MLB teams with the most 100-win seasons

Atlanta Braves

The Atlanta Braves have been very successful in the past years and prove that it is a team that operates smoothly. They also had a run of dominance back in the 1990's. They had some great players when it came to pitching in the form of John Smoltz and Greg Maddux.

In the history of the franchise, they have achieved the 100-win mark 10 times.

Oakland Athletics

It has been more than four years since the Oakland Athletics had a winning record. 22 seasons have gone by since they last won 100 games and still, they see themselves on the list. The Braves have a rich and long history. They weren't always this bad as they currently are.

They used to be a dominant team in the MLB and have 11 seasons of 100 or more wins to their name.

Los Angeles Dodgers

Los Angeles Dodgers, one of the oldest and iconic franchises in the list have had plenty of seasons where they have won 100 games. To be exact, they have 11 seasons of 100 or more wins to their name.

They have been around since 1883 and it makes complete sense of how successful they have been in the past. When it comes to the modern era, they are considered one of the best teams in MLB and have a top record each year.

New York Yankees

New York Yankees is the only team in MLB that has won 100 or more games in a season for an astonishing 21 times. It is the most by any team in MLB.

They came very close to making it to their 22nd season after winning 99 games in 2022. It was the same season where Aaron Judge was declared as the MVP. At most, they can win 98 games this year.
