The social media team of the Miami Heat subtly trolled Bam Adebayo after A'ja Wilson was announced as the unanimous WMBA MVP for the 2024 season. This is the second time in the sport's history that a player has been named unanimous MVP.

How did the Miami Heat social media team troll Bam Adebayo

While taking a jab at their star player, the social media team of the Miami Heat wrote, "A’random photo of Bam on this lovely Sunday 🏀."

The use of "A'random" was signalling back to one of the tweets made by Adebayo after Wilson became the first player to notch 1000 points in a single WNBA season. It was not so difficult to catch that A'random goes with A'ja Wilson's name.

Along with his followers, Bam Adebayo didn't take much to decode the jab taken by the Heat's social media team. To add more fun to it, he even posted a reaction on the post.

The Las Vegas Aces player, A'ja Wilson won her third MVP this season and it was her third. She won the MVP award back in the 2020 and 2022 seasons. She has also won the WNBA Finals MVP and Defensive Player of the Year award twice in her career.

Heap of praise for A'ja Wilson by Bam Adebayo

The Miami Heat star, Bam Adebayo has been speaking highly about A'ja Wilson and before she was even announced as the unanimous MVP, Adebayo already named her "U'nanimous." As Wilson broke Jewel Loyd's single-season total scoring tally of 923, Adebayo tweeted to show his support.

After becoming the first player to score 1000 points in a single season, Adebayo again tweeted and read, "Hope everybody finds A’thousand reasons to smile on this lovely Sunday. 😁."

A'ja Wilson has set a new record in the WNBA after scoring 1,021 total points. She is the only player ever to reach the four-digit mark and last year she recorded the WNBA's fourth-highest total points with 912.
