Oman is taking on Australia in an attempt to pull off the biggest upset in the history of T20 World Cups and they are trying to give out their best on the field against former champions. One example of it was visible in their fielding efforts as they are trying to put the Aussies under pressure by not saving every run and putting their body on the line for every catch. Oman captain Aqib Ilyas did the same when he took one of the best catches of this tournament to dismiss Glenn Maxwell on the golden duck in match 10 of the ongoing edition of the marquee event being played at the Kensington Oval in Barbados, on June 6 (Thursday).

Glenn Maxwell's catch

With less than a second of reaction time and diving towards his left side, Aqib Ilyas created a moment that will be remembered for a really long time. Mehran Khan just dismissed the Aussie captain Mitchell Marsh at the score of 14 runs off 21 balls. Maxwell came to the field following his departure but could not do anything as he lost his wicket on the very next ball.

He played a shot towards the cover but a Superman dive from captain Aqib Ilyas ended his knock on a golden duck. Now the video of that catch is going viral all across the social space at a rapid pace.

Oman bowlers corner Aussies

Oman managed to take three wickets by the score of just 50 runs and put their team in a strong position. However, a partnership between Warner and Stoinis brought the Aussies back in the game but even they would be impressed by the efforts of Oman players.

Their grit and effort on the field against a team of Australia's stature were worth all the appreciation. However, it was Warner's experience that came in handy and revived Australia's innings.
