Babar Azam's opening slot in danger, star all-rounder ruled out of T20 World Cup 2024: Report

Pakistan cricket team have faced a major blow ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024 clash against India. Star all-rounder Imad Wasim who missed the opener clash against the USA has been reportedly ruled out of the tournament due to a side injury he faced ahead of the first clash. 

 

However, the cricket board is reportedly working with the all-rounder by giving him painkillers and injections to keep him up and going against the arch-rivals on Sunday. After India's clash, he will go back to Pakistan. Azam Khan will miss his spot in the playing XI against India in the T20 World Cup 2024 clash and Saim Ayub is all set to feature against arch-rivals reported BBN sports.

India versus Pakistan T20 World Cup 2024 clash is scheduled to take place in June 9 at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
