Shah on Impact player rule

Lately, many people from the cricket fraternity like Rohit Sharma and David Miller have come out and openly criticised the impact player rule and how it is affecting the all-rounders. Shah reflected on the matter and said that the rule was just a test case and is not permanent.

"Impact player was a test case. Two new Indian players are getting a chance in the IPL. We will discuss with the stakeholders - franchises, and broadcasters - before deciding on the continuation of the Impact Player. It's not permanent, but no one has provided feedback against the rule," Jay Shah said during an interaction in Mumbai.
