BCCI to announce Indian Cricket team's new coaching staff under Gautam Gambhir on this date
BCCI will soon be announcing the new Indian coaching staff. They will be working along with the new Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir starting from the SL tour.
Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir is set to start his tenure as the new Indian head coach with the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka for three T20Is and ODIs. He has taken over the office as the successor of legendary Rahul Dravid after India's historic triumph in the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2024. After Gambhir's appointment to this post, the buzz got all around the new coaching staff. There were many reports and speculations about possible candidates. However, BCCI is now all set to make the announcement soon.
BCCI to announce the coaching staff
India's chief selector Ajit Agarkar along with new Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir will be addressing the media in a press conference. This will be the first media interaction of Gambhir following the official announcement of his appointment. The media interaction will be held at the Grand Salon - Grand Hyatt, BKC in Mumbai, on July 22 (Monday). BCCI is most likely gonna announce the new coaching staff here itself.

New Coaching Staff
As per reports, Abhishek Nayar and Ryan ten Doeschate will be joining the Indian team as assistant coaches. Meanwhile, T Dilip will be retaining his spot as the fielding coach. South African legend Morne Morkel will likely become the bowling coach but won't be joining the team from the Sri Lanka tour. Instead, Sairaj Bahutule, a member of the National Cricket Academy (NCA) will be traveling the tour as interim bowling coach.
