The upcoming edition of the T20 World Cup 2024 which is set to be held in the United States and West Indies is the biggest cricketing event of this year. 20 teams will compete against each other in order to claim the grandest glory in the shortest format of the game. They have been divided into four groups (A, B, C, D) and each group consisted of five teams. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super 8 stage where they will again be divided into two groups (1 and 2).

The top two teams from each group will clash against each other in the semi-finals. This is the first time the United States of America is hosting an ICC event and also the first time these many teams are competing in this event. The Indian cricket team is one of the biggest favorites to win this tournament and have been placed in Group A along with their arch-rivals Pakistan, Ireland, USA, and Canada. West Indies and defending champions England are the only teams to have won the tournament two times and have the opportunity to take that tally up to four. However, despite all the excitement for the mega tournaments, the timezone difference has made it difficult for Indian fans to keep track of the match timings and schedule.

Let's know the T20 World Cup 2024 matches' schedule as per Indian Standard Time (IST)

There will be a total of 40 matches in the group stage of the T20 World Cup. The clash between the USA and Canada will kick off the tournament and the match between West Indies and Afghanistan will be the final group stage match.
