'He comes to play it's a different feeling': Rashid Khan praises MS Dhoni's aura after clash in Ahmedabad

Former Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni put up s show at the Narendra Modi Stadium despite CSK's loss against Gujarat Titans. Even Rashid Khan praised his aura after the match.

Gujarat Titans picked up a big 35-run win over Chennai Super Kings in match 59 of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 in Ahmedabad, on May 10 (Friday). However, the whole Narendra Modi Stadium was a sea of yellow just like any other stadium where MS Dhoni comes to play. Even star GT all-rounder Rashid Khan was in awe of the former CSK captain's aura and praised his presence after the crucial clash.

MS Dhoni once again proved why he is one of the biggest names in cricket and has a larger-than-life personality. The whole stadium erupted just at a glance of the icon. A fan even breached the security to meet him. Rashid Khan after the match how playing with Dhoni surges a good energy.

“You love to watch those two (Gill and Sudharsan), really enjoyed the way they played, happy to be on the winning side though. Happy to get a couple of wickets, my body is feeling fetter. Had a back issue, it's good and it's better now, very soon I will be all fit. I have bowled against him (Dhoni), when he comes to play it's a different feeling, it gives us a good energy, happy to play with him,” said Rashid in the post-match presentation.

CSK might have not picked up a win but Dhoni did put up a show after smashing 26 runs off just 11 balls. He even hit three sixes and a four during the innings. He smashed two back-to-back sixes against Rashid Khan and one of them was even with his iconic helicopter shot. Dhoni ensured the CSK fans had something to cherish despite their team's loss.
