ICC T20I Rankings: Smriti Mandhana, Renuka Thakur take big leap in standings after Asia Cup heroics
Smriti Mandhana climbed to the fourth spot in the ICC T20I rankings while Renuka Singh Thakur has impressed with her bowling, securing the fifth rank among bowlers following their Asia Cup outing.
Indian cricketers Smriti Mandhana and Renuka Singh Thakur have made significant strides in the latest ICC T20I rankings. Mandhana's crucial 60-run knock in the Women's T20 Asia Cup final propelled her to the fourth spot in the batting charts.

Meanwhile, Renuka Singh's impressive seven wickets in the tournament lifted her four places to the fifth position among bowlers. Deepti Sharma continues to shine, holding the third spot in the bowling rankings, while Pakistan's Sadia Iqbal moved up to fourth.
India's Radha Yadav and Sri Lanka's Chamari Athapaththu's big strides
Radha Yadav's impressive performance in the Asia Cup, where she claimed six wickets, has earned her a seven-spot jump to the 13th position in the ICC T20I bowlers' rankings. On the batting front, Australia's Beth Mooney and Tahlia McGrath retained their top-two spots, followed by West Indies' Hayley Matthews in third. South Africa's Laura Wolvaardt secured the sixth position. Sri Lanka's captain, Chamari Athapaththu, was the standout performer in the rankings, climbing three places to sixth after her match-winning 61-run knock in the Asia Cup final against India.
"Inspirational Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu also reached new heights as she moved up three places to sixth on the same list to bring up a career-best rating following her Player of the Tournament heroics at the Asia Cup that included a whopping 304 runs at an average north of 100," the ICC said on its website.
Pakistan and Bangladesh see upward movement in rankings
Pakistan's Muneeba Ali has made a significant leap in the T20I batting rankings, climbing six places to 35th following her performance in the Asia Cup. Meanwhile, Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana has risen three positions to 14th. Sri Lanka's Harshitha Samarawickrama, who played a crucial role in the final with a top score of 69 not out, has entered the top 20, securing the 20th position.
