Team India captain Rohit Sharma is often known for his witty style on the field. His same style was seen in the third ODI against Sri Lanka. The Charith Asalanka-led team won the series 2-0 in the three-match ODI series. The third ODI match was being played at the R.Premdasa Stadium in Colombo. If Team India loses in this match then the Sri Lankan team will capture the series. The hosts gave India a target of 249 runs. Then bowled them out on 138 runs to win the match by 110 runs. This is India's first ODI series loss against Sri Lanka in 27 years.

Sri Lankan captain Charith Asalanka won the toss and decided to bat first. The openers made a good start. During this time, Rohit Sharma was fielding at first slip with Rishabh Pant in wicketkeeping. Then something was heard in the stump mic which even the commentators were shocked to see. This video of Rohit is now going viral all over the social space at a rapid pace.

Sri Lankan fans were also shocked to see the Indian captain talking in Sri Lankan language. When Rohit said this, the Sri Lankan team had scored 195 runs after losing 5 wickets by the 44th over. Talking about the match, the Sri Lankan top order played brilliantly. 

 

Pathum Nissanka scored 45 runs in 65 balls. While Avishka Fernando missed his century by 4 runs and got out on 96 runs. Wicketkeeper batter Kusal Mendis also scored 59 runs on 82 balls. Apart from this, the middle order flopped and in the end, Kamindu Mendis scored 23 runs taking the team's score to 248 runs. The team made a good score after losing 7 wickets in 50 overs.
