IPL 2024 full schedule: The final of the 17th edition of IPL will be played in Chennai. After two games in Vizag, Delhi Capitals' remaining five home games will be played at Arun Jaitley Stadium

The second phase of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 schedule was announced on March 25. As reported by Sports Tak earlier, the final of the 17th edition of the IPL will be played in Chennai on May 26 whereas two playoff matches will be played in Ahmedabad. The first game of the second phase will be played between defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on April 8.
Last month, only 17 days of the IPL schedule were announced because dates for the Lok Sabha Elections were yet to be released.
In the first phase of the IPL 2024 schedule, Delhi Capitals’ (DC) first two games were scheduled at Vizag. It happened because the curators needed time to prepare the pitch at Arun Jaitley Stadium after the second phase and final of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 at the venue. In the second phase, DC’s remaining five home games will be played in Delhi.
In the ongoing season, Punjab Kings (PBKS) got a new home stadium in Mullanpur. They started with a six-wicket win over DC on March 23. While five of PBKS’ home games will be played in Mullanpur, the remaining two will be hosted in Dharamsala.
