Punjab Kings (PBKS) stand-in captain Sam Curran won the all-important toss and elected to field in the Indian Premier League (IPL) match against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Eden Gardens on (April 26). PBKS made one change with Jonny Bairstow replacing Liam Livingstone. For KKR, Dushmantha Chameera was handed his maiden cap for the franchise and he replaced Mitchell Starc.

Their latest match resulted in a loss to Shubman Gill's Gujarat Titans (GT) by three wickets.
