Sunrisers Hyderabad is all set to compete against Chennai Super Kings in match 46 of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, on April 28 (Sunday). SRH captain Pat Cummins has acknowledged how it is not possible to outsmart former CSK captain MS Dhoni ahead of their big clash.

"My main job as a captain is to get the best out of our guys. So obviously you’re looking at the opposition a little bit and seeing what they’re doing, but yeah, I don’t think I’m going to try and outsmart someone like MSD. You just, yeah, you try and play your best. You try and bring the best out of the guys and hopefully it works. Look, whatever team you’re playing in, whether you’re captain, player, whatever it is, there’s always huge expectation. We know how passionate the fans are. It’s great. You turn up to a ground and it’s packed out," said Cummins.

"It’s nothing new, we’re going to be trying our best. T20 is a hard format. You have some amazing wins, you also have some tough losses, which I’m sure we’ll have this season, but we’ll be giving it our best shot. We’re all desperately trying to win this IPL," Cummins added.

CSK eye to return in top four

After two consecutive losses, Chennai side have fallen down to the 6th spot on the points table and would be eyeing to return to the win column and the top four. However, SRH also have the opportunity to become the number two team on the standings. Both teams will be trying to put on their best show and pick up a crucial win here.
