The first doubleheader will take place the following day, with Punjab Kings (PBKS) facing Delhi Capitals (DC) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) competing against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
Defending champions CSK will enter the tournament aiming for a record sixth title in the IPL. Meanwhile, DC will be eager to have Pant back, even as a specialist batter.
