IPL 2024’s star-studded commentary panel announced, legendary voices set to double up glitzy league’s thrill

With just few days to the start of eagerly-anticipated Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Star Sports, the official broadcaster, has announced a star-studded commentary panel for the upcoming season of the glitzy league.

World's most popular cricket league IPL is all set to kick off with the first match scheduled for March 22. Defending champions Chennai Super Kings will clash with Royal Challengers Bangalore in a thrilling season opener held in Chennai. While the BCCI has yet to release the full schedule, the first 21 games, running from March 22 to April 7, have been confirmed.

Star Sports isn't waiting for the full schedule, and has announced the list of commentary panel who will double up the thrill of IPL 2024. Hindi viewers can expect insights from 19 commentators, including cricket legends like Harbhajan Singh, Irfan Pathan, and Ravi Shastri. The English commentary boasts an impressive 27 commentators, with the surprising return of Michael Clarke despite his previous controversy.

Star Sports has also revealed commentators for regional language broadcasts, ensuring a truly inclusive viewing experience for fans across India.
