Brand Finance released the list of the brand value of all IPL franchises and the Mumbai Indians occupied the top spot. Let's take a look at the brand value of all the 10 IPL franchises.

Since the time Indian Premier League (IPL) came into existence in 2008, its craze sky-rocketed the popularity of the sport to a whole new stratosphere. As a result, the Indian cash-rich tournament became an instant hub of entertainment along with pulsating cricketing action on the field. Thus, the brand value of the IPL and the franchise involved in the competition saw a massive spike, and since the 2009 editions, the brand value has continued to grow exponentially.

According to brand valuation firm 'Brand Finance', the brand valuation of the IPL has increased by a mind-boggling 433% since its inception. Currently, IPL's brand value is estimated to be around $10.7 billion (approximately 88,930 crore). 

Brand Finance also released the list of the brand value of all IPL franchises and the Mumbai Indians occupied the top spot. Let's take a look at the brand value of all the 10 IPL franchises.

Mumbai Indians Brand Value

Five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians is owned by Reliance Industries. Mumbai Indians' brand value is estimated to be around $87 million (approximately Rs 722.9 crore).

Chennai Super Kings Brand Value

Five-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings' brand value is estimated to be around $80.6 million. (approximately Rs 669.70 crore).

Kolkata Knight Riders Brand Value

Two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders is jointly owned by Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla. Kolkata Knight Riders' brand value is estimated to be around $78.6 million. (approximately Rs 653.13 crore).

Royal Challengers Bangalore Brand Value

Royal Challengers Bengaluru's brand value is estimated to be around $69.8 million. (approximately Rs 579.89 crore).

Gujarat Titans Brand Value

One-time champion Gujarat Titans is owned by CVC-Capital. Gujarat Titans' brand value is estimated to be around $65.4 million. (approximately Rs 543.33 crore).

Delhi Capitals Brand Value

Delhi Capitals is jointly owned by JSW Sports and GMR Sports. Delhi Capitals' brand value is estimated to be around $64.1 million. (approximately Rs 532.58 crore).

Rajasthan Royals Brand Value

One-time champion Rajasthan Royals' brand value is estimated to be around $62.5 million. (approximately Rs 519.29 crore).

Sunrisers Hyderabad Brand Value

One-time champion Sunrisers Hyderabad's brand value is estimated to be around $48.2 million. (approximately Rs 400.50 crore).

Lucknow Super Giants Brand Value

Lucknow Super Giants is owned by Sanjiv Goenka. Lucknow Super Giants' brand value is estimated to be around $47 million. (approximately Rs 390.49 crore).

Punjab Kings Brand Value

Punajb Kings' brand value is estimated to be around $45.3 million. (approximately Rs 376.40 crore).
