India's star wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan took on the role of part-time bowler during the match between Jharkhand and Hyderabad in the All India Buchi Babu Invitation Cricket Tournament 2024. Kishan's decision to bowl has grabbed everyone's eyeballs, with his bowling which immediately went viral on social media. Ishan Kishan has gone through a series of ups and downs in recent months. The 26-year-old was excluded from the BCCI's central contracts list after not participating in domestic cricket and was also dropped from the national team for a recent series. However, he has returned to red-ball cricket in the Buchi Babu Tournament. The left-handed batsman Ishan Kishan scored a brilliant century for Jharkhand in his first match of the All India Buchi Babu Invitation Cricket Tournament 2024. He aimed to continue his impressive form in the next match against the Hyderabad Cricket Association. However, Kishan's performance in the second match against Hyderabad was disappointing, as he scored just one run from 11 balls before being dismissed.

Jharkhand faced difficulties as Hyderabad appeared to be gaining an advantage on Day 2, following a disappointing batting performance by Kishan and his team. Hyderabad reached 207 runs for the loss of seven wickets after 64 overs. The Jharkhand captain decided to bowl right-arm off-spin from around the wicket to T Ravi Teja. Kishan controlled the batters with his flight and varying pace. The part-time spinner conceded only five runs in two overs without taking any wickets. The video of his bowling has become popular on social media.
