In a startling revelation that has stirred the Pakistan cricket community, the country's ex-fast bowler Mohammad Amir has publicly criticised the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Multan for what he described as their "unacceptable" treatment of his family during a Pakistan Super League (PSL) match. This incident comes amid the ongoing ninth edition of the PSL, a prestigious event in the cricket calendar, with matches being hosted in Lahore and Multan.

Amir took to X (formerly Twitter) and leveled the allegations against the Multan's DC and urged the higher authorities to take stringent action.

"Shocked by the unacceptable behavior of the Deputy Commissioner of Multan, who reportedly mistreated my family, arrogantly claiming ownership of the ground & unjustly ejecting them during a match. This abuse of power is intolerable! Urging authorities for immediate action @MaryamNSharif pls I hope u will take action," Amir wrote on X.

The controversy sheds light on the pressures and challenges faced by players off the field, especially when it involves the treatment of their families during high-profile matches. The incident has prompted calls for action against the behavior exhibited by the Multan DC, highlighting the need for better treatment of players and their loved ones during such events.
