Sakshi, aged 35, holds a degree in hotel management and has previously interned at a prominent hotel, where she met Dhoni. Their encounter blossomed into marriage on July 4, 2010, and Sakshi has stood by Mahi's side ever since. She has worked to elevate their business empire, playing an instrumental role in empowering entrepreneurs.

Last year, Dhoni ventured into film production with a Tamil movie, wherein she was involved at every step, from making to promotion. She has since transitioned into a full-time producer and now serves as the managing director of Dhoni Film Production Company. Additionally, Sakshi holds a 25 per cent stake in a real estate firm where Dhoni served as a brand ambassador. Additionally, she also serves as a trustee for the Dhoni Charitable Foundation, actively engaged in initiatives aimed at children's welfare.
