Cricket fans around the world are licking their lips in anticipation of watching global superstar MS Dhoni's return to action in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Dhoni, who led the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to their record-tying 5th IPL title in 2023, is currently training rigorously in the franchise's camp in Chepauk. While earlier multiple videos showcased Dhoni batting the nets while preparing for the upcoming competition, the latest video that has gone viral on the internet captured the wicketkeeper-batter batting during a practice match.
In the video, Dhoni can be seen launching massive sixes during the practice match, including a one-handed maximum down the ground.

Watching Dhoni bat in his vintage style will only increase the excitement among the Super Kings supporters. Dhoni looks in supreme shape ahead of the IPL, and one would hope that 'Thala' continues to enthrall fans with his explosive shots and strategic acumen during the fast-approaching IPL season.

In his Hall-of-Fame career so far, Dhoni has orchestrated five IPL titles for the Chennai Super Kings. In 2010, 2011, 2018, 2021 and 2023 CSK won the IPL under Dhoni's leadership. In seasons 2008, 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2019, CSK finished as the runners-up.
