He's good fun, he's got the humour. He knows how to go about a very serious business in a fun way," Gilchrist told Cricket.com.
Notably, Pant's magnificent century was his sixth in Test cricket, equalling Dhoni's record for the most centuries scored by an Indian wicketkeeper-batter in the longest format.
