India started their campaign strong, securing an 8-wicket victory against Ireland. In the midst of this frenzy, Zomato has injected some humor with a social media post that's gone viral. Referencing Pakistan's surprising loss against the USA, the food delivery app took a playful jab at the team, adding a lighthearted touch to the pre-match buzz.

“Pakistan bro aisi performance hogi to tumhi batado sunday ko ad slots le ya na (Pakistan bro, if this is your performance, tell us should we book advertisment slots for Sunday or not),” wrote Zomato. They also added the hashtag #PakvsUSA.

 

 

Zomato's social media post has quickly gained traction, garnering a significant number of views and likes within just a day. The playful jab resonated with many, sparking a variety of comments and reactions online.

This isn't Zomato's first playful jab at the Pakistan cricket team leading up to the big match. Earlier they posted:

“Team India finished the team in green like a plate of kebabs. PS: We hope to retweet this on Sunday.”

The tournament kicked off on June 2 and will culminate in a nail-biting final on June 29 in Barbados. This mega event features 20 teams from across the cricketing world, all vying for the coveted T20 World Cup title. The teams are divided into four competitive groups:

Group A: India, Pakistan, Ireland, Canada, and USA
Group B: England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland, and Oman
Group C: New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda, and Papua New Guinea
Group D: South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands, and Nepal
The top two teams from each group will advance to the thrilling Super 8s stage. The qualified teams will be further divided into two new groups, with the top two performers from each securing a semi-final berth. Ultimately, the two victors from the semi-finals will clash in the grand finale for T20 World Cup supremacy.
