Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team went to the PMO house and met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They interacted with PM and handed him the T20 World Cup trophy.
Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team interacted with Prime Minister Narendra Modi after their arrival in New Delhi from Barbados by a special charter flight 'AIC24WC', which stands for AirIndia Champions24WorldCup that rescued them amidst Hurrican Beryl. The whole team along with Rahul Dravid, Jay Shah, and Roger Binny went to the PMO house to meet the honorable Indian Prime Minister. They also took their prestigious T20 World Cup trophy and handed it to PM for the group picture.

In the video, you can see Narendra Modi sitting in a circle with all the players and Rahul Dravid while interacting with them. He can be seen asking them questions and laughing along with them. Even the players appear to be enjoying this interaction a lot.

This was not the first time that PM Modi interacted with the players following their victory in the T20 World Cup Final. He personally phone-called the Indian players while they were in Barbados. He also made some individual posts for Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Rahul Dravid for their contribution to the Indian team.
Team India leave for Mumbai after meeting PM Modi
The Men in Blue side arrived in New Delhi and after resting for a while at their hotel in ITC Maurya, they headed towards the PMO house to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Now after their meeting with PM, they have once again departed to take the flight that will be taking them straight to Mumbai for the much-awaited victory parade. The Indian team will be doing a kilometer-long open bus victory parade from Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium with the T20 World Cup trophy. It will be followed by a celebration and felicitation ceremony at the Wankhede Stadium.
