On April 11, the Mumbai Indians (MI) secured their second victory of the season against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. After losing three consecutive losses, the five-time champions regained their winning momentum. In contrast, RCB is still searching for consistency this season, having now lost four successive matches.

RCB posted a competitive total of 196, but the MI batters dominated the RCB bowlers, chasing down the target in just 15.3 overs and winning the match by seven wickets. The RCB bowling appeared lackluster throughout the tournament as the MI batting lineup outclassed them.

Interaction between Virat and Rohit

After the match concluded, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and star batter Virat Kohli were seen chatting in the dressing room. During the second innings of the match, Virat playfully patted Rohit, who responded with a thumbs-up. Both Virat and Rohit are slated to play in the T20 World Cup, which will be hosted by the USA and the West Indies in June 2024.
