As per a report from Dainik Jagran, Rohit was batting in the nets and Sri Lankan throwdown specialist Nuwan was bowling to him. One of the balls hit Rohit on his left-hand glove after which, he left the nets in Kentige Park as he appeared to be in pain but later after meeting the support staff and physios, he returned to practice. It did not appear to be bothering later on but the Men in Blue can not afford any casualty here, especially not a player like Rohit Sharma
