Kuldeep Yadav bags two wickets in opening session

In a pivotal moment during the 5th Test match between England and India, held at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala on March 7th, England's captain Ben Stokes made the strategic decision to bat first after winning the toss. This choice set the stage for an engaging session of cricket that saw England reaching 100/2 by lunchtime on Day 2.

Leading the charge for England was Zak Crawley, who showcased his batting prowess with a swift half-century, remaining not out with 61 runs off 71 deliveries.

On the other side, India's bowling attack saw a glimmer of success through Kuldeep Yadav, who managed to claim both wickets for India during the session. Yadav first sent Ben Duckett back to the pavilion, followed by a crucial wicket of Ollie Pope, keeping the contest evenly poised as the match progressed.

Milestone game for Ashwin and Bairstow

When Ravichandran Ashwin of India and Jonny Bairstow of England took to the field in Dharamsala, it marked a special occasion as both players celebrated their 100th Test appearance. This event became the fourth time in cricket history that two players achieved their centenary Test in the same match.
