Sunrisers Hyderabad is set to collide against Rajasthan Royals in order to seal the remaining spot in the Final of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. They will face each other in Qualifier 2 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, on May 24 (Friday). However, fans are worried that rain does not spoil the match proceedings.

Chennai Weather forecast

The good news for fans is that the forecast doesn't predict too much rain. as per Accuweather report, there is only a 5 per cent chance of rain, and that too only passing showers. It is very unlikely that rain will play spoilsport during the match time. However, the weather has been quite unpredictable and has caused a washout on several occasions.

What happens if SRH vs RR gets washed out?

Rajasthan Royals would be hoping that there's no sight of rain. On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad can actually seal the spot straight to the finals if this match gets abandoned. Since SRH had better position than RR in the points table, they'd secure a win and advance to the Final to play KKR.
