T20 World Cup 2024: India along with five other teams announce their power-packed squads for T20 WC, Here's big update on Pakistan side

The stage is set for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 where 20 teams will battle against each other for the ultimate title. T20 World Cup 2024, which will be jointly hosted by USA and West Indies, is scheduled to be played from June 2 to 29. May 1 is the last date for all the teams to announce their respective squads for the T20 World Cup. So far six teams have announced their teams as New Zealand became the first team to reveal their team on April 29. Later, India, Australia, Afghanistan, South Africa and England followed suit and unveiled their respective squads for the marquee tournament. However, all eyes are on Pakistan's squad who are yet to announce their T20 World Cup 2024 side.

Update on Pakistan's T20 World Cup squad announcement

The wait is almost over for Pakistan cricket fans. Anticipation is building as the announcement of the final 15-man squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 approaches. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set to unveil Pakistan's T20 World Cup squad with ICC's deadline of May 1 looming.

With Babar Azam at the helm, Pakistan will be looking for a squad that blends experience with explosive talent. As the May 1, deadline races closer, cricket pundits and fans alike are buzzing with predictions about who will make the cut for this high-pressure tournament.

Pakistan gear up for the T20 World Cup with a new white-ball coach, Gary Kirsten. Notably, finalising the squad for the upcoming tours of Ireland and England is on hold as the team awaits updates on the fitness of four key players: Haris Rauf, Azam Khan, Mohammad Rizwan, and Irfan Khan Niazi. The selectors will use these tours as a crucial platform to assess players' performances and finalize the T20 World Cup squad by the ICC's deadline of May 25.
