Rohit Sharma's Indian cricket team is all set to one-on-one against Najmul Hossain Shanto-led Bangladesh in their warm-up game of the upcoming edition of the T20 World Cup 2024 which will be played at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, on June 1 (Saturday). The Men in Blue will start their campaign with this match before taking on Ireland in a real contest on June 5 at the same venue. This is also Bangladesh's first warm-up game as their warm-up fixture against the USA got canceled due to thunderstorms. Everyone is excited to see the Indian players compete in the blue colours after a long season but is also worried that the rain will spoil their fun.

New York weather forecast

The good news for fans is that the New York weather forecast has not predicted rain and fans can expect a clear sky. according to Accuweather's report, it will mostly remain sunny with around 36 per cent humidity. The temperature is likely to be around 22 to 29 degrees Celcius. It is highly unlikely that rain will play spoilsport during the game time. As it is only a warm-up game it won't affect either of the teams even if there is rain but both sides can use some precious experience of playing at this ground and assess this pitch before the actual tournament starts.
