Virat Kohli's biggest fan, 15-year-old kid travels 58km on bicycle to see his favourite cricketer play IND vs BAN 2nd Test in Kanpur - WATCH

After three years, a Test match is being held in Kanpur's Green Park, and the fans can not wait to see Rohit Sharma and company in action. The spectators waited in line for match passes at the venue gate after traveling great distances. Among them was a schoolboy who had come to see the game from Unnao city in Uttar Pradesh. Unexpectedly, the 15-year-old cycled 58 kilometres to witness Virat Kohli take the bat in the second Test match against Bangladesh. 

A child named Kartikey was heard on a video circulating on social media claiming that he rode his bicycle alone from Unnao to Kanpur to witness the Test match. He wanted to watch the former Indian skipper bat against Bangladesh because he was a big fan of Kohli. The video of the kid is now going viral all over the internet at a rapid pace.

Virat Kohli eyes epic milestone

The star Indian batter will also have an opportunity to join Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, and Sunil Gavaskar as the fourth Indian batsman to reach 9,000 runs in the longest format of the game during the second Test. In 114 Tests thus far, Kohli has amassed 8871 runs. He made his Test debut for India on June 20, 2011, against the West Indies in Kingston. To make the elite list, he needs to score 129 more runs. 

Now talking about the match, Rohit Sharma elected to bowl first after winning the toss. This turned out to be a right decision as they managed to get the first breakthrough by the 9th over itself with Akash Deep dismissing Zakir Hasan on a 24-ball duck. The host struck again and got the second wicket just 22 balls later and this time it was Shadnam Islam returning to the dugout after scoring a 24 off 36 balls. By the 13th over, Akash Deep has dismissed both Bangladesh openers and gave India a good start. Before lunch Bangladesh were 76/2
 

India got their third wicket into the third over after the match, this time it was veteran all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin who got a wicket as he dismissed Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto on just 31 runs.
