Kohli's hilarious replay to a fan

Once, while traveling on a flight, Virat Kohli was approached by a man who directly asked him about his current batting performance. Kohli replied that he was not scoring runs at the moment. The man then expressed his wish for Kohli to score a century in the next match. Kohli responded by asking the man about his position in his company. The man said he was a manager. Kohli then suggested, "Okay, become the chairman in the next three years." When the man questioned how that was possible, Kohli replied, "I'm not playing a video game here."

The story behind the nickname 'cheeku'

In an interview, Virat Kohli mentioned that nobody in the team knew his nickname was "Cheeku" initially. However, during a match, MS Dhoni called him by this nickname, and it was picked up by the stump microphone. After that incident, everyone became familiar with his nickname.

The banter between Kohli and Pant

Rishabh Pant was trolling Virat Kohli from behind the wickets. Responding to this, Kohli said to him, "You're not the one who's going to do anything; it's your bowlers who need to do the work. They should have the confidence that they can get a wicket." To which Pant replied, "Brother, we have to try to get you out." Then Kohli retorted, "You’ll also have to come in to bat at some point."

The rare silence when Kohli walked into bat

Virat Kohli was walking out to bat in the 2011 World Cup final after Sachin Tendulkar was dismissed, but the entire stadium was silent. Kohli couldn't believe it felt like he was in a foreign country, not India. He later mentioned in an interview that he wanted everyone to make noise, but since Sachin had just gotten out, the crowd was quiet. He looked around once, hoping for some noise, but none came.

Call me Virat 'ma'am'

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were posing for photos outside the one8 Commune when the paparazzi were calling out to them as "Virat sir" and "Anushka ma'am" to get their attention for a pose. During this, one of the photographers accidentally called Anushka "sir." Reacting humorously to the slip-up, Virat suggested, "You might as well call me 'ma'am' then."

Kohli beaten by his sister

Kohli shared a story about his sister, saying, "My sister used to beat me a lot, really a lot. I had a habit of speaking informally, using 'tu' to address everyone. I don't know what got into her one day, she scolded me so fiercely that I stopped using 'tu' altogether. Now, I always use 'aap'. How are you, what are you doing?"
