Thousand of people swarmed the streets of Mumbai for the victory parade of the Indian cricket team that won the prestigious T20 World Cup 2024 title in Barbados. The open bus parade went from Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium and the amount of people who showed up to congratulate gave one of the most beautiful sights ever. In fact one of the men risked his life and climbed up a big tree to get close to the Indian team. Virat and Rohit's reaction after watching that fan is also priceless.

Rohit Sharma praised Hardik Pandya along with entire team and support staff. He said that the trophy belongs to the whole nation. He also expressed his feelings about meeting with PM Narendra Modi.

"Hardik was bowling the last crucial over for us. Hats off to him for that last. You know how many over you need to defend, there is always so much pressure to bowl that over, hats off to him. This trophy is entirely for the nation. It was an honour to meet PM Narendra Modi with the team. We all know how passionate he is about sports. When it comes to winning trophies, Mumbai never disappoints. I am very proud of this team. I am very lucky to have this team. The entire players and support staff walk started three-four years ago. It was the effort of what we have done in the last 3-4 years," Rohit said at the India's felicitation ceremony on July 4.
