India's T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav revealed that he loves to listen Anthem song from 'Surma' just before going to a cricket match. Suryakumar Yadav recently led team India in the T20I series against Sri Lanka where the Men in Blue won the series 3-0.  Suryakumar Yadav made his India debut in a T20I match against England on March 14, 2021, at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. 

 

Suryakumar Yadav is celebrating his 34th birthday on September 14, 2024, in the exclusive chat with star sports he revealed that the Anthem song from ‘Surma’ is his favourite song. 

 "One song that I love to listen to just going before the game is the anthem song from the movie Surma" said Suryakumar Yadav. 

 

 

Story behind Suryakumar Yadav's jersey number

 

Suryakumar Yadav's jersey number is 63 and he said that he just liked it so he chose it. He also revealed that his cricketing idol is legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar. He also revealed that his current favourites are MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli

“My jersey number is 63. I don't know, there's no story behind it, but I just like the number, so I took it. My cricketing idol while I was growing up was Sir Sachin Tendulkar. And my current favourites, they were standing, but Mahi Bhai, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli” added Suryakumar Yadav. 

 

Suryakumar Yadav's favourite battle

 

Suryakumar Yadav who is also known as SKY revealed that he enjoy his battle with Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan. 

 

“My nickname is Sky. It's not a big story, it's all the initials of my name. My debut cap was given to me by Ravi Shastri sir and his lines were, just go out and enjoy. One bowler who I've enjoyed my battles with is Rashid Khan. The greatest moment of my career was obviously getting that India cap" he also said.
