The Indian shooter finished third with an impressive score of 580-27x, showcasing her precision and consistency. Manu Bhaker has scripted a remarkable comeback at the Paris Olympics. Three years after the disappointment of Tokyo, she has secured a spot in the 10m air pistol final. This is a significant achievement for the young shooter who had considered quitting the sport. Bhaker's consistent performance throughout the qualification round, highlighted by a final series score of 96, propelled her to a total of 580-27x, securing her place in the final.

Rhythm Sangwan, another Indian contender, finished 15th with a score of 573-14x. While she couldn't secure a spot in the final, Sangwan's performance showcased her potential. India's shooting campaign had a mixed start, with early disappointments followed by Bhaker's impressive qualification for the women's 10m air pistol final. Her achievement has reignited hopes for a medal and has excited fans across the nation.

 

India's shooting campaign at the Paris Olympics faced early setbacks. Sarabjot Singh and Arjun Singh Cheema fell short of qualifying for the men's 10m air pistol final, finishing ninth and eighteenth respectively. The mixed 10m air rifle team also encountered challenges. Ramita Jindal and Arjun Babuta narrowly missed out on the medal round, finishing sixth, while Elavenil Valarivan and Sandeep Singh placed twelfth.
