When Odyssey Jones was removed from the roster page on WWE.com over the weekend and it raised a lot of questions as there was no official statement from the professional wrestling promotion. Many first thought it could be a glitch but it became clear over the course of time that WWE did not make a technical or editorial error or a glitch. Jones then didn't show up or have his name referenced on RAW last evening (Sept. 2) for the second consecutive week, in spite of the reality he was associated in a storyline with The New Day only three Mondays prior.

As per a report from Fightful, Odyssey Jones has been removed from the WWE roster as the wrestler has been alleged of domestic violence. However, there is yet no confirmation of an arrest or charges being pressed in the case.

“Odyssey Jones was removed from WWE TV when domestic violence allegations came to light, Fightful has learned. We’ve not heard of an arrest or charges being pressed in relation to the situation. We’ve reached out to WWE for comment, as well as clarification on his status. Talent had not been informed of the situation,” Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful posted from his official X account.

Jones just got back to TV toward the beginning of August, months following being drafted to RAW in the 2024 WWE Draft. The former NXT star joined a storyline where Kofi Kingston recruited him to help The New Day fight The Final Testament, a move that Xavier Woods wasn't told about and nor he completely agreed with. In a trios match two Mondays ago, the trio defeated Karrion Kross and AOP. However, the storyline continued with tensions building within The New Day.
