One of WWE's most iconic figures Brock Lesnar has been absent from WWE television since his heated battle with Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023. Lesnar has won numerous championships turning out to be one of the most iconic players of the current WWE era. His long hiatus has fueled the air of speculations and concern among his fans hoping to witness his comeback. He is called as The Beast among his fans and WWE Fraternity.
Why was Lesnar Out of Action?
Lesnar's absence was associated with ongoing legal issues related to Vince McMahon's trafficking lawsuit. However, he has been out of the ring for a long time but has been spotted on multiple occasions during the hiatus.
Viral post
Recently a picture of him went viral on the Internet where the former WWE Champion can be seen in his familiar cowboy hat. The picture features WWE star with a fan who is holding a drink and another drink is placed next to Beast hinting he is having a good time at the bar. His return to WWE remains uncertain. WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has assured the fans to bring their favorite star back in the ring but the legal challenges will not be an easy nut to crack. Lesnar was set to participate in the Royal Rumble event but the legal issues associated with Vince McMahon's trafficking lawsuit played a spoilsport to the plans. The beast was also omitted from the roster of the latest WWE video game, WWE 2K24, and has been sacked from WWE Creative's future storylines.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Newsletter Wrestling Observer, Brock's return to the company will be after he receives a clearance from WWE's Legal team.
"Regarding any rumors of Lesnar returning, he has to be cleared by WWE Legal (remember WWE is still a defendant in the Janel Grant Lawsuit) and that hasn't happened yet." wrote Dave Meltzer.
