Vince Russo, a former WWE head writer shared his two cents on the current controversy between Logan Paul and Kevin Nash. Both the WWE superstars were involved in an online verbal spat.
What happened between the two?
The two wrestlers had a verbal row with Nash accusing Logan of being a part-timer. Nash also made a massive claim saying Logan can never be one of the boys. Logan responded to Nash's claims stating despite him being a part-timer he was a part of the conversation regarding Top 5 stars in WWE. He also Nash a bitter Old timer.
“He’s not one of the boys. Where would he learn that sh*t at? Where’s he fu**ing going up and down the road, fu**ing talking about our fu**ing jargon? In the building? You don’t become one of the boys just because you’re around them. That motherfu**er, from what I heard, is making like 5 million bucks for a limited fu**ing, and those other motherfu**ers are out there making house shows, fu** you. I don’t give a fu** how many people are following you,” the WCW legend said,” Kevin Nash said
“I got people messaging me. They’re like, ‘Kevin Nash is talking sh*t about you.’ I said, ‘Damn. Who is Kevin Nash?’ I mean that. I’m unfamiliar with this guy, which I think is his problem. hat makes you pathetic. This will be my sport, and I will continue to make guys like you eat your words when I devote a little bit of time to it. F*ck me? F*ck you,” Paul rplied in a video posted on X.
Russo the former WWE veteran writer backed Logan Paul agreeing on him being one of the top five stars in the WWE. Russo said this in the latest episode of The Coach & Bro Show. Russo even questioned the system of the company that went into creating new stars. According to him Logan without a background is still better than half of the roster.
"Well, Coach, when he's on that video saying, 'I'm in the top 5 of the WWE,' he's telling the truth. There's no question about that, bro. He is in the top 5. What does that say for the rest of the WWE? You've got guys down in NXT for years! This freaking guy walks in the ring like he's been there his whole entire life. What does that say about the process in the WWE? Come on, you gotta take a look at that," said Russo.
"I don't know if you saw this, but ESPN came out with a top 65 most influential people in pro wrestling. Logan Paul was number 5. I saw people going, 'Oh, he's terrible in the ring.' It has nothing to do with that. He's influential. With his 24 million followers and whatever it is, he influences how wrestling is taken today and how superstars approach their careers. That's influence," Russo added on Logan Paul's social media personality.
