Cristiano Ronaldo experienced a pleasant surprise when WWE star The Undertaker made a guest appearance before the Riyadh Cup final between Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr at the Kingdom Arena on February 8.

The Undertaker, who retired from wrestling in 2020, entered the venue to his iconic entrance music playing in the background.

The 58-year-old raised the trophy, enhancing the lively atmosphere at the venue. Afterwards, the cameras shifted towards Ronaldo, who savoured The Undertaker's appearance before the intense final.

However, the 39-year-old Ronaldo experienced a tough day on the field as Al-Nassr suffered a 0-2 defeat. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Salem Al-Dawsari ensured that Ronaldo's team had limited opportunities to assert dominance.

The match began with fierce competition, but it was Al-Hilal who scored first in the 17th-minute courtesy of Milinkovic-Savic's skilful play. His goal established the momentum for the game, granting Al-Hilal an early lead.

Throughout the match, Al-Nassr, despite boasting Ronaldo among their ranks, struggled to break through Al-Hilal's solid defence. Despite Ronaldo's influential presence, it wasn't sufficient to shift the game's momentum in their favour on this occasion.

In a display of local talent, Al-Dawsari extended Al-Hilal's lead, sealing the victory and guaranteeing that the esteemed Riyadh Cup would be draped in Al-Hilal's signature blue and white colours.

This triumph added yet another prestigious trophy to Al-Hilal's already illustrious collection, which comprises numerous domestic league titles and cups, alongside continental accolades.

The victory not only gave Al-Hilal bragging rights over Al-Nassr but also extended their dominance in recent head-to-head encounters, securing their seventh win in the last nine meetings between the two teams.

Al-Nassr currently holds the second position in the Saudi Pro League table with 46 points, achieved through victories in 15 out of 19 matches. Meanwhile, Al-Hilal lead the table with 53 points, having secured 17 wins from 19 games.
